Terrance Hughes has proven his qualification with a tenure of basketball success. His basketball career began in high school at Theodore Roosevelt High School in Gary, IN. He went on to play Division II basketball at Marian University, formerly Marian College of Fond du Lac, WI from 1998-2002. In the 1999-2000 season, the team reached the Division II NCAA tournament, the first in the school’s history. He also played basketball overseas. Mr. Hughes began his coaching career in 2004 at Theodore Roosevelt High School, in Gary, IN as the freshmen boy’s basketball coach. The team won a district title under his leadership. His mentoring and leadership career has impacted several young men throughout many school districts with his experience ranging from amateur to professional. He is married to Fadreaka Hughes with five children ranging in ages from 9-17 years old.
